I know I have been mia on the blog for 2 months, but I haven’t been idle! Christine from greatoakcircle.com and her team, have been working on my new website and I am SO excited about my first blog featured on the new site! I think they really nailed what I was going for and I hope that it is easy to navigate for you all!
I thought I would start with a “loving lately” post, to catch you up on a few finds I have been enjoying.
First, is the clothing rental subscription called Nuuly.
If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my stories on it but I have really enjoyed my first months box. It was created by Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters so it is clothing that is fun, fashionable, and high quality. For me I wanted to cut back on my clothing spending, but I still enjoy trying new trends. This seems like a good balance, where I get to try new things every month, but I’m not investing in items I wont get alot of wear out of, because of my lifestyle right now(athleisure most days!). I get to choose 6 pieces every month to rent, and if I fall in love with a piece- they do offer a discount to purchase it as well. Then I send it back at the end of the month, and pick 6 new pieces for the next month! Here is a discount link for $20 off your first subscription!
Second, are these Colorfulkoala Joggers and Leggings. They are an almost exact dupe of the Lululemon Align joggers/leggings if you own those or have tried them on. Butter soft fabric, thick but super stretchy and very high waisted. I like that joggers give a little different look than can be dressed up a little more if needed too. A girl at my pilates studio actually just changes her top and throws on a blazer and flats and heads to work in hers! It’s pretty impressive. (looks like the joggers are out of stock in black, but they always come back). The 7/8 in leggings with pockets are my FAVE and I have them in Black, Camo and the Navy Cheetah pattern. I wear a small and think they are true to size.
Third, is the Dazzle Dry Nail system. I am going to do a whole post dedicated to all my favorite safer polish brands, but the reason this is a front runner is it dries HARD and FAST in 5 minutes. And chip free for 7 days with no UV light, so you can do it easily at home as well. They have lots of fun shades, but you have to buy the whole system for it to work well. I have gotten into a routine the past month of just switching my polish every Sunday- and I can literally do ANYTHING with my hands in 5 minutes. Its crazy. I have timed it! I purchase the system here on their website. Some cities have salons that carry it, and you can look it up to see if your city does!
Fourth, Lily Lolo Big Lash Mascara.
I am always, always trying new safer mascaras. I have found that mascara is super personal to people so I like having alot of different options to recommend. This one curls and gives big drama- fast! I really like the look of it. I purchase it here, from my friend Kate’s online clean beauty shop called Made, you can also find it on Nordstrom and Anthro online.
Fifth, to go along with mascara, I have been using the Tarte Lash Primer for a while now and its really great at giving that added volume to your lashes and helping your mascara last all day without flaking. Its rated a 2 on the EWG( all of Tartes products aren’t super clean, but this one has a good formula!) I get it off Amazon.
Sixth, Dropps has won me over again! ya’ll know I am obsessed with the laundry soap, oxi clean and scent booster pods..but I am just now trying the Dishwasher Pods and surprise….they are GREAT too! They work just as good at the “Finish” toxic brand! ha! Here is a link to purchase– and you can easily cancel if you don’t love them as much as I do! USE THE LINK ABOVE AND THE CODE “DROPPS15” AT CHECKOUT!
Seventh, I have been reading “You are the Girl for the Job” by Jessica Connolly and OH. MY. GOODNESS. Where has this book been all my adult life? Jess, you have breathed a fresh wave truth over me and I cannot wait to read the rest of it. I am about half way through, and it is so rich with love and truth and hope for you. HIGHLY recommend. You can get it here, or get it on audiobook here.
Eighth, Green Life pans. I got this recommendation from Cassi Garcia (Fed + Fit) for safer non stick pans…and they have been great! I figured she knew what she was talking about since she literally creates recipes for a living! I got the cookie sheet-baking pan and a 12′ fryer and love both. I definitely want to invest in more from this brand. You can snag them here.
Ninth, The Sill. Have ya’ll heard of them? I sent plants as gifts over Christmas and I love a gift that keeps on “living”, even longer than sending flowers(not that I don’t love flowers!) Such a great gift idea for those that don’t live near you and they have TONS of options and sizes.
Tenth, these Amazon Ankle Socks. I know not glamorous, but these are the first ankle socks I HAVE EVER OWNED that don’t slip. E V E R. Sometime’s it really is the little things like that, that are big things. amen?
Thanks for following along! I hope you enjoyed a few of my favorite finds!
