We made it to October, ya’ll! Truly, I do love the changing of the seasons so much. It reminds me of God’s faithfulness….
“Everything on earth has its own time and its own season..” Ecclesiastes 3:1
I have some fun things to share with you this month. The first is something I have shared countless times on Instagram, but if you aren’t a social media junkie you may not have seen them.
I found these Joy Lab warm leggings at Target about 6 weeks ago, and I seriously want them in every color now. They are buttery soft, but warm(so not really a workout legging, more for athleisure and just running around town). No pilling so far, and they hold you all in without being so tight you cannot breathe. I have them in light gray heather and the navy heather, and I wear a Small. These are my best selling clothing item I have EVER shared, and the reviews keep pouring in! Everyone loves them and goes back for another color! haha! They feel alot more expensive than they are for sure!
Next, I have been trying this mask for about a month once a week and I LOVE the results of it! It’s the Josh Rosenbrook Enzyme Exfoliating Mask. It’s a dual-action exfoliator that relies on physical and enzyme exfoliation to reveal a luminous, baby-smooth complexion. Walnut shells slough off dull skin, while papaya enzymes go deep down to unveil a fresh, radiant glow. Antioxidant-rich botanicals like turmeric and elderberry combine with raw honey to quench skin with replenishing hydration. Masks can really help your skin reset and this one really works!
Ok, I have been eying Veja shoes for like 2 years and finally pulled the trigger….annnd I think I may have worn them almost every day since! I am definitely a sneaker girl- I wear them with anything and everything. I love this colorway with the light blue suede and fun pop of pink on the back too. There are a million colors, but this one just jumped out at me. In this specific style I read the reviews and they said it ran small, so I ordered one size up and they work well for me!
Next up…..did you seeeee the New Holiday Gift Collection from Beautycounter? They nail it every year…and this year I am especially excited to see all the hot pink packaging! So fun!
So far the Jellies, Golden Hour Palette, Lip Gloss Trio and the Bright Side Duo have been my best sellers so far! I love the idea of the all in one palette with blush, highlighter and eyeshadow all in one place….so I just have to pick that one as my current favorite! You can follow my account on Instagram with ALL things Beautycounter Holiday @giftclean_brooke.
Last month I shared with you that I ordered the sample set from Gold and Ivy Candles, and I picked my favorite three scents from that set
Bourbon Apple Cider, Fallen Leaves and Gray Flannel. Safer candle that literally fills my entire living area with amazingness….need I say more? Use code “Brooke” for 15% off! She is restocking on Monday 10/12 and they sell out quickly!
Ok, annnnnd it’s that time of year(well 2020 it’s been like this all year) BUT….let’s talk boosting immune systems! This is what works for our family, I am not a doctor….I feel like I always need to say that 😉 I dont love swallowing pills, so I have always been looking for a clean formula of a liquid vitamin PLUS it’s good for my kids teeth(better than gummies) as far as getting cavities. We have been using Mary Ruth’s Liquid Morning Multivitamin for 2 years now. We mix it with a teeny bit of Orange Juice every morning. You can read all about ingredients on the website, and see what makes it a great option to boost your immune system, especially during cold and flu season.
Next up are these Shea Moisture products for my sons curly hair! These can be found at Target as well! They don’t make his hair greasy, just detangled, manageable and the curls look healthy and not frizzy or crunchy. Great budget friendly price point as well! Shea Moisture is overall a pretty clean brand that is transparent in their ingredients as well- so I like supporting them.
Next is my favorite Stain Remover! This gets used ALL THE TIME at my house, and I still haven’t found anything it doesn’t work on. Love it so much, I order the Large Refill off of Amazon so I never run out. I love Puracy, and some of their products can now be found at Target as well. I use their hand soap, and Disinfectant spray, and I have also used their body wash and kids body wash too. Love them!
Next is this Acrylic organizer got off Amazon. I like having my makeup and hair stuff super accessible but I also don’t want it all over my countertops. One of my friends had this and I ordered it, put it together…and its the perfect solution to all my products! It spins so you can get to anything easily, and you can configure it how you want and change it up if something isnt working.
Last is a book I have been so excited to get, and finally got it this week! David Platt was our pastor for 4 years, and those years were some of the most transformative of our lives. I read the entire book in about 2 hours, so it’s a very quick read. It has helped me as I am wrestling through some things, and as always….he brings the focus back on Jesus, the gospel and the great commission. He is not going to tell you who to vote for, there is no political or party leaning, He truly walks you through scripture and helps you think about how to make your decision but remain unified with other believers that may make different decisions than you do. HIGHLY recommend.
Purchase Before You Vote, here on amazon.
and that’s a wrap for October, and my favorite finds!
Happy Fall Ya’ll!
