favorite finds/ november

I do most of my posting and sharing on Instagram, but lately I have had people ask if there was a place I save the things I share about. I do usually save things to an Instagram highlight, but I thought a blog post about things I am loving lately may be a good landing page to refer back to! These lists will literally be ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING! My intention is to do a “what I’m loving lately” blog every month.

1. My knockoff Apple Watch Band from Amazon.
So I fell in love with this $150 Apple watch band, after trying on someone else’s but I could NOT stomach that $150 price tag. I love that it looks more like jewelry now, and its magnetic so you can adjust it to fit your arm perfectly and it doesn’t shift around. I have the rose gold one, and bought mine on Amazon for $10!
2. Trader Joe’s Onion Salt
Basically, if I want my kids to eat veggies….I just put this Onion Salt on them and roast them in the oven! It’s literally good on ANYTHING. Meats, Veggies, etc. You can get it on Amazon if you don’t have a Trader Joes nearby!
3. Acure Brightening Scrub
For the price, this is my favorite manual exfoliant that I use religiously 2/3 times a week. You can snag it on Amazon, or at your local Target. It is pretty abrasive, so those with Rosacea or extremely senstive skin- proceed with caution! It truly does brighten my skin, and my favorite time to use it is the morning after I use the Beautycounter Overnight Resurfacing Peel. GLOWING!
4. Dropps Laundry Soap
I wish I had a count of how many people I have converted to Dropps Landry Pods the last 6 months of using it. IT WORKS! No junk, but it actually cleans your clothes and THEY SMELL GOOD! If you have tried to switch your laundry soap to safer and been dissapointed, I HIGHLY reccomend trying Dropps.
I use the Clean Scent from the Stain and Odor Collection. I also use the scent booster pods as well, and the Oxi Clean whitening pods for all my whites/towels. You this LINK to get $10 off your subscription!
5.This new Beautycounter Lip Scrub set.
OH. MY. Ya’ll, you have to try this lip polish set that just came out. It comes with a scrub( I use in the shower and its so good!) Peppermint scented, and the lip balm and gloss are perfect for keeping winter lips from getting chapped and dry.
6. Songland
My husband and I have been LOVING this new show called Songland. It’s about the writing process, and they have different artist/bands on every week and find songs written by songwriters who are trying to make it. Its just fascinating! It’s even clean enough that our 9 year old loves to watch it with us too. Really great show- and we watch it on Hulu.
7.Madewell Black/Leopard Sneakers
I bought these before we went to Disney, and they are SO comfy but don’t sacrifice style. You can dress them up or down, and I love that as well. I bought them on sale at Madewell and they were a great price for what you get. More comfy than vans, but have that same vibe- they run TTS.
8. Target Who What Wear Turtleneck Sweatshirt
This is one of my favorite finds of the season, so much that I bought it in Black and Gray. SO SOFT, wide oversized fit, and it looks way more expensive than it is($32). I wear an XS.
9. Clean Well Hand Sanitizer
Cold and Flu season are HERE, and this little guy is a must have in my purse. I also gave one to my 2 elementary school aged kids and gave the pump kind to all of their teachers! Its not drying, clean ingredients and effective! I get mine on Amazon, but you can find it locally at Sprout or Fresh Market.
10. Amazon Puffer Jacket
I just got this puffer jacket from Amazon, and the quality is great. It’s the Starter brand, lightweight but warm and waterproof. I got the bronze green color and ordered a Small so there was a little room to wear sweaters underneath. $56, good pricepoint for this type of jacket!
Until next time!

Meet Brooke

It didn’t take me long after I had my third child to realize I was going to have to get much more intentional about the way I lived my life. I have always been a “fly by the seat of your pants” girl, but making conscious choices to be purposeful with my decisions is helping me become a better wife, mom and business owner.
